Guidance for grievance mechanisms

As the implementation partner of the German Global Compact Network, twentyfifty developed a guidance on human rights-focused grievance mechanisms including a step-by-step guide and advice for continuous improvement.

This publication outlines the expectations of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and of the German National Action Plan for Business and Human Rights. It provides step-by-step instructions for reviewing existing mechanisms according to the effectiveness criteria for human rights-focused grievance mechanisms and offers advice on how to continuously improve companies’ complaint management systems.
