This publication outlines the expectations of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and of the German National Action Plan for Business and Human Rights. It provides step-by-step instructions for reviewing existing mechanisms according to the effectiveness criteria for human rights-focused grievance mechanisms and offers advice on how to continuously improve companies’ complaint management systems.
